Leading Norwegian Firm Advokatfirmaet Føyen Transforms Its Transaction Infrastructure Through HighQ

To significantly enhance its technology infrastructure to support real estate transactions for clients, Advokatfirmaet Føyen AS, one of Norway’s leading law firms, has adopted Thomson Reuters HighQ, the law firm operations and management software which simplifies legal processes and facilitates legal project management in one place.

With more than 80 employees based in Bjørvika, Føyen is a leading firm in Norway within its specialist fields of real estate, construction, information and communications technology (ICT), media, and employment. The result of a merger between Føyen Advokatfirma DA and Advokatfirmaet Torkildsen & Co AS in 2015, Føyen also has an affiliated firm in Sweden—Foyen Advokatfirma—which was established in 1987 and today has approximately 100 employees based in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö.

Føyen chose HighQ to bolster the firm’s digital offering for client transactions within its market-leading real estate practice. This includes being able to deliver highly secure, customised data rooms that can be set up in just minutes, and enabling better, faster, and more secure collaboration with clients than ever before. The firm’s choice to implement HighQ was informed by its work with Thomson Reuters partner Coincide, an Oslo-based advisor focused on strategy, digitalisation, and innovation in the legal space. At the core of Coincide’s offering is helping law firms get the most out of their HighQ Collaborate platform.
