Print subscriptions

Print Subscription types

We offer three different kinds of print subscriptions:
  • Any Time Start (ATS)
  • Charge By Release (CBR)
  • Standing Order

Any Time Start (ATS)
An Any Time Start subscription is one that runs for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Charge By Release (CBR)
Because some looseleaf mainworks are not updated regularly, they are unsuited to traditional subscriptions.  In these cases, you will be registered to receive all future updates and charged for each one individually, as and when you are sent them.  Charge By Release subscriptions continue until you terminate the service.
Note: any releases published within 90 days of your original mainwork purchase will be provided free of charge.

Standing Order
Standing Order is available as a purchase option for White Book, Archbold and Sealy, only.
An Any Time Start subscription is one that runs for 12 months from the date of purchase. The advantage of a Standing Order is that you will automatically receive all new editions, plus updates to those editions.
There is no annual charge for a Standing Order, you will be charged for your products once per edition, which covers the main work and relevant updates. You will be notified in advance of your next charge to assist you in monitoring your spend.
Standing Orders continue until you terminate the service.

Subscription cancellations

You can cancel an Any Time Start subscription at any time but you will not be entitled to a refund if the cancellation is received more than 30 days after the original invoice.
Standing Order or Charge By Release (CBR) subscriptions can be cancelled at any point and no further issues / editions will be sent.

Subscription Renewals

Before each renewal period we will send you an annual subscription statement to enable you to review your subscriptions.  You must tell us about any changes within 30 days of the subscription statement date after which you will be invoiced and your subscription(s) will continue for a further year.
For more information please see our Ts&Cs.

Bound Volume Service

For an additional fee, we can supply you with a hardbound, indexed volume containing all issues of a journal during a subscription year – you don’t have to return your original issues.
The Bound Volume Service is excellent value for money and an easy way to avoid misplacing individual issues.

Binders and dividers

All periodicals are supplied with binders and dividers, enabling you to file and protect your issues.
Replacement binders and dividers are available for some periodicals for a small additional cost.
