PSC register: completing the register: before 18 November 2025
Before 18 November 2025, Part 21A of the Companies Act 2006 requires certain companies and other legal entities to keep a register of people with significant control. This practice note considers the steps a company was required to follow to create its PSC register and to keep that information up to date. This practice note discusses the PSC regime in force before 18 November 2025. For a discussion of the requirements of the revised PSC regime from that date, see Practice note, PSC regime: information gathering and filing requirements.
