Disciplinary procedure
A procedure for employers to adopt to comply with their obligations under section 3(1) of the Employment Rights Act 1996, and to set out the procedure that will be followed where allegations of misconduct have been made against an employee. The procedure takes into account the Acas Code of Practice on Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures and other best practice advice from Acas. The procedure should be used in conjunction with Standard document, Disciplinary rules.
