Guidance on completing an application notice for an extension of time for filing and service of a defence. Click here to view form N244 which should be used to make this type of application, unless proceedings are in a specialist court or division which uses a specific form of application notice. Remember that PD 23A.2.1 requires the N244 to be signed, regardless of whether or not a statement of truth is required.
