Julia is Managing Director of Hayhoe Consulting. Her business portfolio spans Management Consultancy, Non-Executive Directorships and Executive Coaching. Her focus is on enabling the legal sector, and leaders within it, achieve strategic, sustainable growth by adapting to changing market dynamics. A particular passion is advising on how to incorporate Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) issues into strategy and stakeholder engagement.
Prior to founding Hayhoe Consulting, Julia held a range of leadership roles at: Baker McKenzie (Chief Strategy Officer, Global Executive Committee Member and Director of BD & MarComs); Clifford Chance (BD & Internal Consultant) and Hildebrandt (Vice President Legal Sector Consultancy in the London, New York and DC offices). Earlier in her career she was a lawyer at a Shoosmiths and an in-house legal department secondee, at what is now Walgreens Boots Alliance.
Her wider NED and pro-bono advisory work includes: Strategy Officer at the World Economic Forum; The Foundling Museum, the UK’s first children’s charity; NHS Leadership Coaching with Meyler Campbell’s NHS Pro-Bono Coaching Program.
Julia is a product of, and believes strongly in, enabling social mobility and so also mentors widely on a pro-bono basis.
