The Thomson Reuters Transforming Women’s Leadership in the Law (TWLL) programme will host the fifth webinar in its series focused on the evolving circumstances due to COVID-19 on 3 November 2020. The series began in May to explore the practical methods for advancing gender equality and to help organisations support necessary cultural change. The series also examines the future of the legal industry and the impact on the buy side/sell side.
The webinar is presented jointly by TWLL and Twenty Essex and will focus on advancing equality for women at the bar and explore recruitment, progression and retention. Panellists will examine how the courts, firms and clients can better collaborate to address the multiple underlying issues.
Panellists will share their leadership perspectives from the bar and law firms to explore solutions and best practices for fostering a fair and equal approach to recruitment, career progression and recognition within the profession. Panellists include:
- Virginia Clegg, Senior Partner, DAC Beachcroft LLP
- Annabel Thomas, Partner, Mishcon de Reya LLP
- Sara Masters, Queen’s Counsel (QC), Twenty Essex
- Patrizia Masselli, Director – Litigation, Investigations & Enforcement EME, Barclays Legal
Jemma Tagg, CEO of Twenty Essex, will moderate the discussion.
Register for the one-hour webinar, which is scheduled for 17:30 GMT (12:30 p.m. EST).
