Michelle Bramley is an executive and leadership development coach, international lawyer, non-executive director, and board advisor working across commercial and not for profit sectors with a strong focus on environmental, social and governance.

Michelle provides coaching to clients on a 1:1, team and group basis and offers businesses bespoke leadership development programmes. Her executive and leadership coaching experience includes working with business leaders at key transition points in their careers, supporting business leaders who are new to role, bringing teams together to build high performing teams and driving cultural, digital and organisational transformation agendas. She also partners with leaders to help them think through how they respond to strategic challenges and opportunities and manage complex stakeholder relationships.

Michelle’s executive coaching work draws on her thirty years’ experience as an international lawyer and business leader, coach and mentor in a variety of legal and senior management roles in Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (most recently as the firm’s Global Head of Knowledge). She has worked extensively across countries and across cultures, leading dispersed and diverse, high-performing teams and has a track record of strategic insight and delivering cultural, digital and organisational transformation.

Michelle also sits on the Legal, Finance and Accounting Route Panel for The Institute for Apprenticeships and mentors, on a pro bono basis, junior lawyers looking to enter and move up the legal profession.

She is also Senior Independent Director at UK Coaching where she chairs the Governance Committee, is the ESG Board Champion, Duty to Care Board champion (which focuses on diversity, inclusion, mental health and well being) and is a member of the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee. She is also a Board adviser to Forest SEA, a not for profit organisation focusing on reforestation initiatives in South East Asia.
