White paper: should law firms embrace cloud-based storage?

How secure is ‘cloud computing’ at storing valuable client data and information? Is it an option law firms should be adopting?

It’s a topic that many are understandably unsure about. However, a new white paper, Is the Cloud More Secure Than You Think?, recently published by the Legal Executive Institute, has all the answers and will bring you right up to speed.

The paper explores the concept of cloud-based technology, and its level of security for storing important client information, while also acknowledging why some law firms might be apprehensive about using it.

But, as the paper explains, storing client data in the cloud might just be the most secure method. “Cloud computing offers far more extensive security than any law firm could provide on its own,’’ the paper states.
